Profile

Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Indus- try was established in August of 1986 as a Company Limited by Guarantee with the principal objective of promoting economic and industrial development within the FCT in particular and Nigeria in general.

It is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, mem- ber-funded organisation solely represent- ing the common interests of the business community in the FCT. The Chamber is privately funded by Corporations, Founda- tions and Members, therefore its energies are directed by the interests of the busi- ness community and the general public.

Presently, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established association an linkages with business groups, trade asso- ciations, international chambers, govern- ment agencies, trade offices and foreign embassies, etc. so as to accomplish its goal of enhancing the sustainable growth and development of businesses in the FCT.

To be the foremost Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria and to be a key

player in Africa.

OUR MISSION:

To serve, support and enhance the businesses of our members as well as

contribute to the development of our national economy.

STRATEGIC DIRECTION:

We propose to lead the private sector in the delivery of sustainable growth

and prosperity in commercial activities and businesses in Nigeria. Conse- quently, we aim to support development of trade, business, commerce and industries as well as promote best commercial and governance practices.


Chamber is privately funded by Corporations, Foundations and Members, therefore its energies are directed by the interests of the business community.

Covid-19 Support

Due to the impact of Covid 19 on the economy and businesses as well, the Chamber ran a 30% discount on the fees of registration for a period of two months (September – October 2020).

 

This discount served as the Chamber’s own positive contribution to affected businesses .
