NEPC Certifies 26 SME Exporters to Boost Non-Oil Exports

Today at the Councils Head Quarters in abuja 26 SME’s were presented with various international certifications including HACCP, HALAL, USFDA and ISO 22000

The certifications which were presented by the ED/CEO Dr. Ezra Yakusak was achieved under councils “Go Global , Go for Certification” initiative and the Nigeria Competitiveness project(NICOP) jointly sponsored by NEPC and German Cooperation International (GIZ).

The collaboration also saw the Council work with a reputable certification expert based in bangalore india to provide certification-based training to Nigerian manufacturers and producers.

These certifications will help facilitate SME’s access to certified niche international markets allowing them compete favorably in the lucrative international markets and get premium pricing for their products.
