What’s in it?

This online training programme includes 3 courses delivered on the AFRACAD e-learning platform:

 

Course 1

Preparing for Inter-African Trade Opportunities provided by the AfCFTA, challenges to engaging in intra-African exporting, and ensuring your export readiness (including an exportreadiness checklist)

 

Course 2

Developing your African Markets Export market research using newly launched trade information tools, and marketing opportunities made available as a result of the AfCFTA (including sales agreements)

 

Course 3

Export Operations Accessing trade finance opportunities, managing payment risk, export logistics and export compliance (including Rules of Origin) There is a huge untapped potential for African exporters to increase their business by engaging in inter-African trade. The time is right, as January 2021 will see the launch of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), which will provide new and unprecedented opportunities for exporters on the continent.

The International Trade Centre (ITC) and Afreximbank, in partnership with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), are pleased to announce the launch of the “How to Export within the AfCFTA” training programme.

Register to this vocational programme to improve your knowledge and skills in order to take advantage of the new intraregional export opportunities provided by the AfCFTA! Top performing participants will be invited to attend a four-day face-to-face workshop to be held at the NEPC in early 2021!
